What is procrastination?
Procrastination is the act of intentionally and habitually putting off jobs or tasks that need to be done. Procrastinators suddenly find other, less important tasks to do, to keep them busy and then they can ‘honestly’ say that they didn’t have the time anyway to do the task!
Over time procrastination becomes a habit and can be very difficult to overcome. Procrastination can affect an individual’s work, relationships etc. Procrastination causes anxiety and dissatisfaction and if left untreated can even lead to depression.
What is motivation?
Motivation is a desire to achieve a goal, combined with the energy to work towards
that goal. Motivation has much to do with desire and ambition and if these are absent,
so too is motivation. A person may have the desire and ambition to do something or
achieve a goal, however if they lack the push or willingness -

Motivation strengthens ambition, gives direction and purpose to life. Motivation
pushes you forwards -

Lack of motivation is an unconscious desire to ‘bury your head in the sand’ and in order to overcome procrastination and increase motivation and increase success, we need to make changes at the unconscious level.
